MSDS stands for material safety sheet, and it is created to keep people safe when they are handling, dangerous materials. It is very important just in case something in an experiment, etc, goes wrong so that you are able to look up what you need to do so no damage is done. They can come in handy for many people from scientists in a science lab to nurses in your school.

An MSDS show many things about the chemical or substance you are dealing with. It tells you about the components in it, both hazardous (flamibility) and not, this includes the physically properties of the substance. This also explains the sfety measures that need to be taken, for example wearing protective gear and flushing the eyes if the substance is in the eyes, etc.
